Tara A. Barnes
Biography
Ms. Barnes, an AV rated Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, defends large loss liability cases in the areas of products liability, construction litigation, contractual disputes and motor torts. Ms. Barnes also defends traffic and criminal cases.
Ms. Barnes is a graduate of the University of Maryland, School of Law. Prior to joining Rollins, she served as an Assistant State's Attorney in Baltimore City for seven years. As an Assistant State's Attorney, Ms. Barnes investigated and vigorously prosecuted felony offenses in Baltimore City.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Barnes worked as a law clerk in Maryland and New York where she gained significant legal experience by supporting attorneys in personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation and family matters at administrative and trial levels.
