Biography
Aaminah K. Woods graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2023, and graduated cum laude from St. John’s University in 2019 with a B.S. in Legal Studies.
While attending law school, Ms. Woods interned for two local Baltimore law firms, gaining experience in general civil practice and criminal defense litigation. Ms. Woods was also a part of the University of Baltimore School of Law's Criminal Practice Clinic, where she worked at the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office in the Juvenile Division.
Additionally, during her second and third years of law school, Ms. Woods was a member of the National Trial Competition Team. During her first year on the team, Aaminah was a competing member of the final team that represented the University of Baltimore School of Law at the 2022 NTC Regional Competition.
After law school, Ms. Woods served as the 2023-24 judicial law clerk to the Honorable Gladys M. Weatherspoon in the Circuit Court of Maryland for Prince George’s County.
Outside of the office, Ms. Woods enjoys watching films and televisions shows, going out to eat with friends, attending music concerts and festivals, doing yoga, and spending time with her family and the family's dog, Boston.
