Ms. McDowell joined Rollins, Smalkin, Richards & Mackie, LLC in 2016. Her practice includes insurance defense, personal injury, contractual disputes, and insurance subrogation.
Ms. McDowell graduated from the University of New Mexico with a double major in Philosophy and Sociology. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Toledo. Ms. McDowell graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2005.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. McDowell worked for the Institute for Public Policy in Albuquerque, New Mexico, conducting research for Governmental and Non-governmental institutions. While studying for her master’s degree she taught courses in statistics and was a research assistant. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McDowell worked for 10 years as a litigation attorney for two national insurance companies. She has extensive courtroom experience at both the District and Circuit Court levels.
In her free time, Ms. McDowell enjoys long distance running, baking, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Mollydooker.
